Sources: McHale to take over at EKU
Dan McHale will be the next head coach at Eastern Kentucky, sources told Scout on Tuesday. McHale has spent his last two seasons under Richard Pitino at Minnesota. Prior to that, McHale was an assistant at Seton Hall and Iona. McHale has strong ties to the area, as he was a manager at Kentucky and also spent time as a video coordinator at Louisville. The Eastern Kentucky job opened up just over a week ago when Jeff Neubauer accepted the same position at Fordham.
