Watch: Duke Holds On to Beat North Carolina in Chapel Hill, 74-73

Joel Berry II missed a shot with time winding down and Duke's thin roster held on to steal a win against their arch rival.

It was a wild night Wednesday in Chapel Hill as Duke held on to beat North Carolina, 74-73 in the Dean Dome. Despite playing just 6 players the majority of the game after veteran wing Matt Jones injured his ankle, the Blue Devils survived Brice Johnson's monstrous performance (he had 18 and 11 at the half) and a late Joel Berry II pull-up jumper for the win. Grayson Allen and Brandon Ingram led the way for Duke, racking up a combined 43 points and 17 rebounds.

North Carolina, meanwhile, had a particularly poor shooting night from outside. Perhaps bothered by Duke's zone defense, they made just 1-12 3-point attempts during the game. Despite the loss, Carolina's Brice Johnson was the best player in the game. He finished with 29 points (on 13-17 shooting) and 19 rebounds. Meanwhile, the rest of the team made just 17 of their 53 shot attempts.

The rematch comes on March 5, the last game on both teams' regular season slates.
