N.C. State's Cat Barber to test NBA Draft waters

NC State's top player -- Cat Barber -- will test the NBA Draft waters.

NC State point guard Anthony "Cat" Barber will test the NBA Draft waters, a source close to the situation told Scout.

"He's definitely doing that," the source said.

Barber had a tremendous junior campaign raising his point averages from 12.1 points a game as a sophomore to 23.5 as a junior. Barber also averaged 4.7 rebounds and 4.5 assists.

The NCAA recently moved back the deadline for athletes to withdraw their name from the NBC draft from April 16th to May 25th, which will allow them to participate in the NBA Draft Combine.

DraftExpress currently has Barber projected as the No. 54 pick in the second round
