Top basketball prospects from all over the nation traveled to Team USA U17 Training Camp to show off and hone their skills, and Wendell Carter is one of those who made the court his stage.
Carter, a 6-foot-10, 258-pound rising senior at Atlanta's Pace Academy, will take his first official visit to Harvard in the fall, but holds interest in Kentucky and Duke, too. Even with a field of offers from premier basketball programs, Carter plans on attending Kentucky's Big Blue Madness in October, and hopes that Gary Trent and Kevin Knox, will be by his side.
Knox is very much on the fence with where he hopes to play, but plans to narrow his field of choices to ten or 12 schools after Nike's Peach Jam next month. Trent Jr. has similar plans to cut down his list, but has significant interest from Kentucky, Duke, Ohio State, Michigan State, Arizona and UCLA.
Big Blue Madness is the first open practice opportunity for Kentucky's men's and women's basketball teams and top prospects often show up.
