Bears Outmatch Bulls, 34-6

The Baylor Bears had no problem with the visiting Buffalo Bulls on Saturday as the Bears came away with a 34-6 victory. The Bears now carry a 2-game winning streak into their next match-up against TCU.

The Baylor Bears improved their record to 2-0 on the season on Saturday after defeating the Buffalo Bulls, 34-6. The Bears defense has not given up a touchdown in their 2 contests this season.

For the green and gold, cornerback Chance Casey led all tacklers with 8 tackles on the night. Defensive tackle Tracy Robertson recorded 2 tackles for loss, and sophomore safety Mike Hicks notched his first career interception. The Bears held Bulls quarterback Jerry Davis to 18-for-46 for 163 yards on the night, and Baylor sacked Buffalo's signal caller twice.

On offense, Baylor quarterback Robert Griffin III completed 20 of 35 passes for 297 yards, 2 touchdowns, and 1 interception. The Bears quarterback also rushed for 27 yards and scored twice on the ground.

Junior receiver Kendall Wright bounced back from a poor Week 1 performance hauling in 5 passes for 128 yards and a touchdown. Sophomore wideout Terrance Williams led all receivers with 6 receptions.

Baylor travels to Ft. Worth next Saturday to face #4 TCU.
