Baylor got a verbal pledge from Trevon Armstead, a 6'6 280 OT, from Port Arthur Memorial. Armstead is a teammate of fellow Baylor commit Terrance Singleton.
"I did some research, and I liked what I saw," said the talented offensive lineman. "I am planning on taking a trip [to Baylor] next weekend."
Armstead holds offers from Colorado, Missouri, SMU, and Tulane and talks about just how solid his commitment to the Baylor Bears is.
"It is pretty solid. I stick to my word," says Armstead.
With his decision, Armstead explains that he made his family really proud.
"My family is really happy right now. They are 100% behind me."
