Holding offers from Baylor, Michigan State, Iowa State, Nevada, and Navy among others, Allen High School prospect Thaddeus LaGrone ended his recruitment on Thursday evening by committing to the Baylor Bears. The 6'2", 215-pound linebacker discussed his decision with BearsIllustrated.com.

"I felt at home with the Baylor coaches," LaGrone said of his verbal pledge to Baylor. "My mom liked it, and it just felt like the right thing to do."

A 3-star prospect on Scout.com, LaGrone attended Baylor's camp on Thursday while choosing not to participate in drills. The talented athlete's decision was made easy because of his relationship with the Baylor coaching staff.

"Coach Briles was cool, and it just felt like the right thing to do," LaGrone said.

How committed is the junior linebacker to the Baylor Bears?

"I am not 100% committed to Baylor," said LaGrone. "I am 105% committed," he said with a laugh.
