Baylor's recruiting momentum is red hot right now. Right after the Bears' July 22 camp they received the commitment of Keller Central athlete Zack Sanchez. Twenty-four hours later, it is Humble High School defensive tackle Zorrell Ezell who has committed to the Bears.

Ezell, who claims offers from Arizona, Arizona State, Arkansas, Kansas State, Miami (FL), Missouri and West Virginia, was among several others at Baylor's July 22 camp.

"I committed to Baylor. I'm 100%," said Ezell. "It felt comfortable. It felt right."

Zorrell also informs BearsIllustrated.com that the relationship he has built with head coach Art Briles as well as his recruitment handler Carlton Buckels was a large part of his decision.

The 6'1", 280-pounder, who has reportedly been focused on bringing Humble a state championship, continues to work on his game.

"I want to work on bringing down the quarterback one I get through the line," says Scout.com's 50th ranked defensive tackle.

Ezell is the 15th member of Baylor's 2012 class. He is the second defensive tackle, joining junior college commitment Joey Searcy and the third defensive linemen overall.
