Bears Get Pledge From Defensive Standout

The Baylor Bears got big news on Thursday as a defensive standout gave his verbal pledge to the green and gold. Come inside to see what Baylor's newest commitment had to say.

Standing 6'1" and weighing in at 195 pounds, Pearland High School standout Kendall Ehrlich decided to end his recruitment by giving his verbal pledge to the Baylor Bears. Holding offers from several schools including but not limited to Baylor, Arizona, Boise State, Colorado, Illinois, Louisville, Purdue, and Wake Forest, the talented outside linebacker decided Baylor University was where he wanted to play football on the next level.

"[My commitment] is strong," said Ehrlich about his decision to play for Art Briles and the Baylor Bears.

"I like them because the coaches are really cool, and think I can play early. And, Coach Bennett is one of the best defensive coordinators in the country."
