Big 12 Bound

Reports are flying that the Texas Christian University Horned Frogs are finally Big 12 bound. What is next for the Big 12 and its expansion plans?

According to reports, TCU has officially been invited to the Big 12 and will formally accept later today.

TCU would bring the Big 12 back to ten members as things stand right now. However, the University of Missouri still has not committed to the Big 12 and is still exploring a potential move to the Southeastern Conference. It also remains to be seen whether or not the Big 12's target number is ten, twelve, or possibly more members.

Any more additions to the Big 12 is still speculation at this point, but the reported remaining expansion targets included but are not limited to: Brigham Young University, the University of Louisville, and the University of Cincinnati.
