When 6'1" and 185-pound Kaleb Moore, a talented all-around athlete out of Cy Fair High School, visited Baylor earlier this season, he knew that he wanted to play football for Baylor head coach Art Briles.
"It just felt like home," said Moore. "I liked the coaches and it is where I wanted to be."
Moore held several scholarship offers, primarily for his outstanding achievements in the world of track and field. Moore took 3rd place in State in the high jump, and also competes in the long jump and the triple jump.
His abilities on the track and in his field events had schools like Boise State, Missouri, Kansas State among others offer him a scholarship on the track.
Three schools, New Mexico, Texas State, and Baylor, offered Moore the chance to compete on the football field at the collegiate level.
While Moore primarily played wide receiver in high school, it is not certain where he will play on the next level or if a redshirt year is in store for his freshman campaign.
