Baylor Defeats Longhorns, 77-72

The #14 Baylor Bears (23-5, 10-5) knocked off the Texas Longhorns (17-11, 7-8) on Monday in Austin. Quincy Acy and the Bears overcame a 10-point halftime deficit to complete the regular season sweep of the Longhorns.

While Baylor junior point guard led all scorers with 25 points and 6 assists, it was the heart and determination of senior forward Quincy Acy that willed the Bears to victory on Monday night in front of 14,000 fans at the Erwin Center in Austin. Acy scored 22 points and hauled in a career-best 16 rebounds in one of the most physical games the Bears have played all season.

The Bears next host the Oklahoma Sooners on Saturday in the Ferrell Center in Waco.
