Baylor Tops Sooners, 70-60

The #13 Baylor Bears (24-5, 11-5) completed the regular season series sweep of the Oklahoma Sooners (14-14, 4-12) on Saturday afternoon. The Bears defeated Oklahoma, 70-60.

The #13 Baylor Bears (24-5, 11-5) completed the regular season series sweep of the Oklahoma Sooners (14-14, 4-12) on Saturday afternoon, 70-60.

The Bears trailed by 3 points at halftime but rallied back on the hot shooting of Baylor guards Pierre Jackson and Brady Heslip. Jackson scored 18 points on the game, while Heslip added 16 points. Each hit four 3-point baskets in the contest. With the win, Baylor posted its second regular-season series sweep of Oklahoma in the last 3 seasons and 3rd in series history. The Sooners were led by Steven Pledger who tallied 21 points on the afternoon.

The Bears hos the Texas Tech Red Raiders in the Ferrell Center on Monday, the final home game for the Baylor Bears this season. It is also senior night at the Ferrell Center.
