Player Spotlight: Alex Bonilla

All summer long leading up to the opening kickoff for the Baylor Bears, BearsIllustrated.com will spotlight players on the 2012 Baylor football roster.

Player Spotlight Alex Bonilla--

Senior offensive lineman Alex Bonilla is entering his final season as a Baylor Bear. The 6'2" 280 pound Bonilla has primarily been a scout team player for the Bears squad, but this season made strides during the Spring. The former Abilene Cooper standout has received most of his reps at center and at guard.

Projection- The Bears have, under Baylor Head Coach Art Briles, had some of the best offensive linemen in the country wearing the green and gold. This season is no different as Baylor continues to produce NFL offensive linemen. Bonilla may get time as a reserve, but will have to battle his way up the depth chart to see significant time.
