Draft Projections

The NFL Draft begins this Thursday, and with all the excitement surrounding the event, reveals its NFL Draft 1st Round projections. projects the Baylor players to be drafted in the 1st round of this year's NFL draft.

#2 Overall-Washington Redskins- Robert Griffin III, QB, Baylor

There is no secret that after the Colts take Andrew Luck with the 1st overall pick, the Washington Redskins are ready to select the 2011 Heisman Trophy winner from Baylor. A dynamic play-maker, RGIII is already a star in D.C.

#19 Overall-Chicago Bears- Kendall Wright, WR, Baylor

Chicago Bears Head Coach Lovie Smith was on campus for Baylor Pro Day and saw first hand the talents displayed by Baylor record-breaking wide receiver Kendall Wright. Notre Dame's Michael Floyd may be off the board at this point in the draft, and if he is the Bears will likely fill a need with Wright. The only way Wright falls is if Georgia Tech's Stephen Hill is selected sooner than projected.
