Baylor signs final piece of 2012 class

Earl Warren HS PF Taurean Waller-Prince makes late switch to sign with Baylor.

The 2012 recruiting class for Baylor is (seemingly) finally completed with the addition of Taurean Waller-Prince.

The 6'7" PF from Earl Warren HS (San Antonio, TX) made his Baylor commitment official Monday night. An under-the-radar prospect, Waller-Prince was originally committed to Long Island University – Brooklyn prior to switching to Baylor.

As a senior in 2011-2012, Waller-Prince averaged 21.4 ppg, 11.1 rpg, and 3.5 bpg for Earl Warren (Texas 5A), leading his team to the state semifinals, and gathering All-Tournament, and All-State honors.

Waller-Prince is excited to join the Baylor program, especially "[Baylor's] tradition, and their academic program". On what his focus is when on the court, Taurean said "I try to bring intensity defensive presence most importantly, as well as taking advantage of smaller players".

Look for Waller-Prince to be an impactful member of the Baylor program in the years to come.
