Checking in with Quan Jones

6'4" 195-pound wideout and Baylor commit Quan Jones provided an update to BearsIllustrated.com on his upcoming summer and fall.

Wylie, TX (Wylie East) wide receiver Quan Jones was Baylor's 5th commitment for the 2013 class on March 26. Since then, Jones was nominated for the 2013 U.S. Army All-American Bowl, and has continued picking up offers. Jones confirmed he has amassed at least 32 offers, and that number looks to continue to climb.

"[It] meant a lot to me because I have been working so hard this off-season in everything I do to get better," Jones said via text about the All-American Bowl nomination. "At the same time, I stay humble and I'm still working 110% everyday."

This summer Jones will be attending all Baylor sponsored camps, but not participating. On what he most looks forward to at Baylor as a part of the 2013 class, Jones replied, "Playing in the new stadium and being involved with that great coaching staff".

A hard-working, speedy receiver holding a nationwide offer list (including Michigan State, Arizona, and Mississippi State), Quan Jones is one for every Baylor fan to watch in 2012 and beyond as he looks to build onto his 41 catch, 420 yard, 4 TD Junior season.
