National WR target, Kd Cannon, was the first to pull the trigger. The 5'11 Mount Pleasant (TX) WR prospect has long been known as a Baylor lean, but shocked the recruiting world with his pledge today. Cannon is the 4th WR commitment for this class, joining Davion Hall, Chris Platt, and Ishmael Zamora. Some could argue that Baylor has added possibly the top WR class in the nation, to an already salty group of wide receivers already at Baylor.
The second commitment came from Verkedric Vaughns. Vaughns originally committed to Arkansas State, earlier this summer, but reconsidered after a visit to the campus. Vaughns attended a June football camp at Baylor, and made it clear that a Baylor offer was one that he wanted and would jump on if given. Well the offer came this morning and soon after Vaughns became commitment #23 for the Baylor Bears.
