The Bears take their 6-0 record and #8 BCS ranking on the road for the second time, to take on the Kansas Jayhawks in Lawrence, Kansas.

Fresh off their highest BCS ranking in school history, the Baylor Bears hit the road for the second time in three week, as they head to Lawrence, Kansas to take on the Kansas Jayhawks.

Baylor fans will remember the last trip to Lawrence. A 31-30 OT win, which had heorics from then Heisman winner Robert Griffin III, in the 4th quarter. Down 21 points heading in to the 4th quarter, Griffin III led a furious comeback to force OT. In OT, the Bears took a 31-24 on the Jayhawks. On their last series, the Jayhawks went in for a TD and lined up for a 2-point conversion. The 2-point conversion failed and the Bears escaped with a 31-30 win, and their second straight bowl bid.

Heading in to todays contest, the Bears will try to start fast and score early. Kansas has faced many issues on offense, but the defense has been consistent throughout the season. The Jayhwaks defense, however, has not faced an offense this potent and an offense that plays as fast as Baylor's. It will be an interesting matchup to see what DC Dave Campo can come up with to slow this offensive attack down. On offense, the Jayhawks offer a solid running attack, but are inept in the passing game. Look for the Bears to stuff the box and slow down the running game to try and make the Jayhawks one dimensional, which should play in to the Bears hand.

All in all, Baylor fans should expect nothing but the same from the Bears. A suffocating defense and an explosive and efficient offense. Keeping locked in to for all the latest as we discuss the game today! Sic'em!
