Chance Waz joins loaded Baylor class!

The Bears welcomed in commitment #24 in CB Chance Waz. Come inside BearsIllustrated.com as we discuss his commitment and what it means for the rest of the 2014 class!

Pflugerville (TX) Hendricks CB Chance Waz was always considered a Baylor lean. He had always made it known that Baylor was his dream school. After attending a camp this summer, Waz hadn't received the offer that he wanted. So, before the season started Waz gave a verbal commitment to the Colorado Buffaloes, after a visit to the campus. Later on in the season, the Nebraska Cornhuskers swooped in and got Waz to flip his commitment from the Buffaloes to the Cornhuskers. This seemed like an easy choice for Waz, as his teammate Trai Moseley was already committed to the Cornhuskers.

Soon after his commitment to Nebraska, the coaching staff at Baylor gave Waz what he had been waiting for. They offered the 5'11 CB. After visiting Baylor on Saturday, and taking in Baylor's Big 12 Championship, rumors started circulating that Waz had flipped to Baylor. Well after speaking to the Nebraska coaches yesterday and speaking with the Baylor coaches today, Waz's dream came true. He is a Baylor Bear.
