Broadnax Talks Baylor Visit

Dallas (TX) Bryan Adams DT, Joseph Broadnax, talks about his recent visit to Baylor's Junior Day.

Over 30 players attended Baylor's second Junior Day, on March 15th. The players were able to take in a Baylor football practice and also attend position meetings, as well as visit the Baylor facilities.

One of the attendees was recent TCU commit, Joseph Broadnax. Broadnax has seemingly flown below the radar, with his 3 offers coming from TCU, North Texas, and UTSA. "I grew up a Baylor fan, so I wanted to come down and see what it was all about," Broadnax said.

At 6'0, 300 lbs, the Dallas (TX) Bryan Adams HS product is a load on the defensive line. His size matches the type of athlete that Coach Phil Bennett looks for on his defensive line. "We got to sit in on their position meetings, so I was able to see how they used their lineman. I think I could fit in well."

While he did not leave with the offer he was looking for, Broadnax did mention an offer would give him something to think about. "As I said, I grew up a Baylor fan, so if they offered, I'd definitely have to sit down with my Dad and think about that offer. I'm solid to TCU, but I still want to look at other options I have out there."

Broadnax plans to visit UTSA, who offered a couple of weeks back, and will also take place in a Rivals camp in Dallas soon. BearsIllustrated will keep up with Joseph as he enters the summer camp circuit.
