Jason Jennings Makes MLB Debut Thursday Night

After just two short years in the minors, Jason Jennings will make his Major League debut on Thursday. This year, Jennings has produced a 7-8 record with a 4.72 ERA and has struck out 110 batters in 131.2 innings for the Colorado Springs Sky Sox.

For anyone who is wondering, Jennings has continued to show his prowess at the plate. He has had a couple of home runs this season. One of them was instrumental in getting him a win. Jennings could be right up there with Hampton in home run production with the air in Colorado.

Jennings will make his debut against the New York Mets. He will oppose Glendon Rusch (6-8, 4.72 ERA), who is 1-2 in his last 5 starts and only pitched 2.2 innings in his last start.

Jennings started the season with the AA Carolina Mudcats. After compiling a 2-0 record early in the season he was promoted to Colorado Springs.
