Baylor Basketball Picked to Finish Sixth

Kansas has, once again, been selected to finish atop the Big 12 this basketball season, while the Bears are projected to finish sixth. Find out where everyone else falls.

The 2014-15 Big 12 basketball preseason coaches’ poll was released this morning and Baylor came in at a projected sixth place finish with 36 total points, a tie with West Virginia.

Last season Baylor was picked to finish third in the Big 12, before ending the season with an appearance in the Big 12 Tournament championship game and reaching its third Sweet Sixteen since 2010.

For the fourth straight season the Kansas Jayhawks were selected to finish atop the Big 12. Texas, which returns every starter from last season’s squad, finished with 74 points, earning a projected second place finish. Oklahoma came in third with 67 points.
