3-Bears Selected to Phil Steele's AA Team

Phil Steele announced his All-American Teams Monday morning. Three Bears were chosen as All-American, along with 16 Bears on the All-Big 12 teams.

Phil Steele announced his preseason All-American teams this morning, with three Bears being selected to the 4-team squad. Leading the way for the Bears is Shawn Oakman, who was selected as a 1st team defensive end. The Senior defender is coming off of an All-American campaign in 2014 and surprised many by returning to Baylor for his senior campaign.

On the offensive side of the ball, Corey Coleman was named a 2nd team wide receiver with Spencer Drango being selected as a 3rd team tackle. Coleman, a junior to be, is coming off of a 1,000 yard season, and looks to improve with a full season. The inside receiver missed the first three games of the 2014 season, but still led the Bears in receiving yards and touchdowns.

Spencer Drango is a 3-year starter at left tackle going into his senior year. With 35 career starts under his belt, Drango is not only one of the most experienced tackles in the Big 12, but also one of the best. The defending Big 12 offensive lineman of the year was also an All-American in 2014.

In addition to the All-American teams, Phil Steele also announced his all-conference teams, with 7 Bears taking home first team spots, and a total of 16 Bears selected to one of the 4-teams.
