Baylor Gets Visit from 4-star JUCO OL

Malcolm Pridgeon came to Baylor this weekend. We caught up with his coach at Nassua CC to get the latest on where the 4-star lineman stood.

With two high school linemen committed, the Bears have started to turn their attention to the Junior college ranks to build up experience and maturity on the offensive line. This is what happens when you have 5 seniors to replace. One such junior college linemen is Malcolm Pridgeon, who visited the Bears this past weekend, according to his coach Joseph Osovet.

"It was a Friday though Sunday visit, he just got back a couple of hours ago," said the NCC said. With a about 6 months left to go till signing day though, Pridgeon is taking his time. "Really isn't focused on recruiting right now. He wants to take care of his academics first, and has not time frame on his decision".

The 4-star tackle did enjoy his first trip to Waco though. "He enjoyed it, and thought that Coach Clements was great!".

The former Rutgers commit has offers from all over the country, including from Ohio State, Louisville, Nebraska, Syracuse, West Virginia and Arizona State.

With reportedly 2 spots left to fill along the offensive line, the Bears can afford to wait on some of the top JUCO targets on their board, including Pridgeon.
