The Baylor Bears will have the focus of the NFL, as their annual Pro Day is held

The Baylor Bears are hosting their annual pro-day on March 16th. With as many as 6 Baylor Bears hoping to be drafted to the NFL, this is a big day for Baylor.

The draft process is a long and arduous one.  After a player's season is over, the training begins.  First is the combine, but a crucial next step is hanging out there as well, especially for athletes not chosen to attend the Indianapolis meat-market.  Colleges and regions will have Pro-Days, designed to showcase their graduating or declared athletes for any and all scouts, coaches, and NFL team-personnel that choose to attend.

Baylor will be hosting their on March 16th, a very busy day overall for scouts.  Baylor will be joined by other Power-5 teams such as Michigan, Michigan State, Georgia, Arkansas and Virginia Tech. With several first round caliber athletes set to represent the Bears, Waco, TX should be a popular destination.

The headliners of the day will be juniors Corey Coleman and Andrew Billings, both who performed very well at the NFL Combine in February.  Coleman will be looking to run the forty-yard dash for the first time, as he was still recovering from a groin injury he sustained during the Oklahoma game that required surgery.  Coleman is widely considered the 2nd or 3rd best receiving prospect in this draft class. With an elite 40-yard dash, Coleman could cement his status as not only a first rounder, but as a player that deserves attention in the top half of the first round.

The Baylor lines will also be well-represented with Spencer Drango, Andrew Billings and Shawn Oakman leading the way.  Also Beau Blackshear, Blake Muir, Desmine Hilliard, and the other draft eligble linemen that graduated from the 2015 team will be looking to make a name for themselves and get a shot either as a late round draftee, or maybe a rookie free agent who goes to training camp.
