Baylor is beginning to heat things up on the recruiting trail, and as they make the rounds, offers are beginning to go out.
One of the most recent offers to go out, was to Lake Dallas (TX) HS CB, Kobe Boyce. Boyce has recently burst on to the recruiting scene, and has begun to receive attention from all over the country. The Baylor offer, however, was one that Boyce was being patient on.
"It felt great to get the offer! The coaches told me to be patient and it would come, and it did. I have a great relationship with the coaches and it continues to grow!"
Boyce was in attendance for Baylor's friday night scrimmage last Friday, and came away impressed with the defense. "I really liked how the defense played. They were real aggressive in the way they played. I'm glad I made it. It was a great experience."
Several schools are coming hard for the standout, but there are a few that are standing out. "Right now I'm just taking everything in. Recruiting is going great. Arkansas, Texas, TCU, Baylor and A&M are really pushing hard for me," he said. "I'm just looking for a great environment and a great football program. All of those schools have a great education, so I'm really just looking for the best fit."
Boyce is looking to visit Baylor again and BearsIllustrated will continue to monitor his recruitment, so keep it here as we bring you the latest in Baylor recruiting.
