While his staff is not complete yet, the Baylor coaching staff has been extremely busy offering kids.

Coming over from Temple University, Coach Rhule and his staff seem to be relying on their relationships in the Northeast and Florida, as many of their offers have gone to kids in those states. However, with the additions of Coach David Wetzel, former San Antonio Reagan HC, and Coach Shawn Bell, former Round Rock Cedar Ridge HC, the offers have picked up for kids that play in the state of Texas. Below is a break down by state, of the offers that have been sent out by the new coaching staff:

Florida - 4

California - 1

Mississippi - 1

Washington D.C. - 1

Texas - 11

Many have questioned the strategy of Coach Rhule and his offers to those outside of the state, but it makes sense for this coaching staff to try and leverage the great relationships they've built with recruits and their coaches. Baylor has a lot to offer, in facilities and conference, so many of these kids may see an opportunity where they may not have at Temple.

A few kids who are committed to other schools have mentioned that they would like to take official visits to Baylor in January. Among those, 4-star QB and LSU verbal, Myles Brennan has said he would like to check out the Baylor campus. Another offer, Florida State commit and DE Demarco Artis, would also like to take in the Baylor campus.

January is shaping up to be a very important month, for Rhule as his staff, as they concentrate on filling a 2017 class that has only 1 commitment. That commitment, Jalen Pitre, signed his financial aid agreement to enroll at Baylor in January of 2017.

Below is a complete list of the 18 offers that have been sent out by the new staff. Stay tuned to as we bring you the latest on new offers and where Baylor may stand with each.
