The Baylor football staff's ability to close can no longer be questioned. The final weekend before signing day has started with a bang, as center Ryan Miller has committed to Baylor. The Bears offered Miller last week on January 26th. Miller, a Navy commitment on January 24th, was obviously intrigued by his first power-5 conference offer.
A 2-star center from Southlake Carroll High School, Miller is joining high school teammate Henry Klinge III along the offensive line. Miller is the 6th high school commitment on the offensive line, joining Klinge, Xavier Newman, Khalil Keith, Eleasah Anderson, and Jason Moore.
Miller chose Baylor over a list of marquee academic and service academy offers, including Harvard, Columbia, Army, Navy, and Yale. Miller is the 22nd commitment of the 2017 class, the 21st under Matt Rhule.
