Recruiting

Pitre committed to Baylor what seems like a long time ago. Pitre was the lone holdover of the Art Briles staff and stayed committed through the coaching change. Pitre made things official in December and enrolled in January to Baylor.

Scout.com Evaluation

Pitre is a ball-hawking safety with good coverage skills in the deep portion of the field who can also play a factor in run support. Well-rounded prospect with a nose for the ball. Shows great anticipation, coverage instincts as center field-type safety. Good ball skills. Willing and able to crash vs. run, especially on perimeter. Pitre isn't the tallest safety you'll find, but he possesses good bulk, which aids his tackling ability. Pitre's ball skills and willingness to mix it up make him a quality safety prospect. - Gabe Brooks, Midlands Recruiting Analyst
