The Baylor Bears hung on for a tough road win against Oklahoma State Wednesday night, snapping a 2-game losing streak. In the winning effort, star forward Johnathan Motley scored 24 points, on 9-12 shooting. He also chipped in 1 rebounds, 1 block and 2 assists to power the Bears victory.
Motley became the 31st Baylor Bear to score 1,000 career points as well, the 13th of the Scott Drew era.
The 4th year junior was also named to the Wooden Award list, one of three Big 12 players remaining after the late season trimming cut the list to 20 players. Motley is averaging 16.6 points,9.8 rebounds, 2.1 assists, and 1 block per game for the 6th ranked Baylor Bears. The 21-3 Bears host Big 12 leading Kansas Saturday afternoon in Waco, TX.
