Southlake Carroll product, Jackson Kimble, makes the call for Baylor

Jackson Kimble pulls the trigger and becomes first commitment of the 2018 class for Matt Rhule

Southlake Carroll OT, Jackson Kimble, became the first commitment for Matt Rhule, as he pulled the trigger for the Bears after a visit to Waco for their annual JR Day.

Kimble chose the Bears over and offer from Texas Tech and interest from Duke.

The 6'5, 260 lb OT continues a pipeline that Matt Rhule has built at Southlake. Two of Kimbles teammates signed with Baylor this past February, in Henry Klinge III  and Ryan Miller.

Kimble is a rising prospect and is great in pass protection while playing with a nice mean streak.
