The Bears and Sooners meet for the first time in 2017, having played the opening game of Big 12 play against each other on December 30th. The Sooners are fading fast, especially after losing star guard Jordan Woodard for the season. Oklahoma is just 3-11 in Big 12 play, and has won just 1 of their last 9 games, a 70-66 victory at home over Texas.
One of the youngest teams in the nation, Oklahoma relies on a trio of freshman in Jordan Shepherd, Kristian Doolittle and Kameron McGusty to carry the load. Add in sophomores Rashard Odomes and Christian James, and it is easy to see why they are struggling this year.
The Bears are also in need of a win however, losing their last two games as well as four of their last 6. Home court has been good to them though, before losses to the two Kansas schools. Can the Bears pull out of this funk and regain their swagger?
