Bears in Good Shape

Jeremy Patterson speaks with a 2007 prospect who has the Bears at the top of this list and offers up that a commitment may be coming soon.

Corsicana has several Division I prospects for the class of 2007 and one of the most prominent is wide receiver Greg Stewart, who has picked up his first offer.

"Baylor offered me a while back and Oklahoma State and Arkansas are showing me a lot of interest too," Stewart said. "There are other schools that are sending me stuff, but those are the ones that send the most."

The 5-foot-10, 160-pound Stewart had 1,100 yards receiving and nine touchdowns as a junior. He also may get a look as a cornerback on the college level.

"Baylor is probably my favorite right now," Stewart said. "I have been there and it's close to home and I'm real comfortable. I could commit soon because I have been wanting to get rhrough with all of this before the season starts."
