One of the top performers at the Scout.com combine Waco was Mesquite wide receiver Krys Buerck. he recently picked up his first offer, now he has made his commitment. "I committed to Baylor yesterday," Buerck said. "I talked to coach Hayes and he was real excited and said that they were glad to have me."
The 5-foot-9.5, 159-pound Buerck ran the 40-yard dash in 4.5 seconds and posted a 4.06 second shuttle.
"Right now I would probably say that I am a soft commitment," Buerck said. "I am still going to look around a little bit and I won't shut the door. I am planning on hitting some other camps this summer to compete and see what I can do."
