Baylor vs. ASU: Rained Out

As the Baylor Bears began their quest to return to the College World Series, the rain started to fall in Houston halting play. Add a little lightning to the mix, and you have yourself a bona-fide rain delay.

With 1 out in the top of the 2nd inning in a scoreless game between Baylor and Arizona State, play was halted due to rain.

Tim Jackson was standing on 1st base with the only hit thus far in the game and Baylor's Beamer Weems was ready to try to move him over when the rain hit. Corey VanAllen made it through the bottom of the 1st after giving up a 2 out walk, and overall appeared to have good command.

The game will resume tomorrow at 4:00 CST. Following that game at 8:00 CST, the loser will play Prarie View, who lost to Rice in the bottom of the ninth inning earlier in the day.

Stay tuned to to follow your Baylor Bears as they try to get back to Omaha.
