When Cedar Hill high School coach Joey McGuire describes one of his players as a Greek God, and refers to his tackling ability by the nickname "velcro", coaches are bound to take notice.

The Baylor Bears recently got a pledge by Cedar Hill linebacker Chris Francis to play college football. Francis had many schools to choose from, but it came down to two in particular. TCU and Baylor were at the top of his list, but when it came down to it, Baylor is where he felt more comfortable. Francis is a quick, hard-hitting linebacker that has NFL pedigree. Most fans in the Baylor circle know of the 'Francis' name. Chris Francis is sure to be another star at Baylor.

Chris Sanders is a 6'1" 200 pound run stopper who has been described as a player that "makes running backs cringe." Sanders, a Corsicana High School student, will join former teammate and current Baylor Bear Jay Finley in Waco.
