Blue Names a Leader

Anthony Blue has recently seen a couple of his teammates commit to play college football for Baylor University. Blue has an offer from Baylor among other schools, come inside to get the latest to see which way Blue is leaning.

Anthony Blue, a cornerback out of Cedar Hill high school, reports offers from a number of schools including Baylor, Nebraska, and Wisconsin.

Although he has previously hesitated to name a leader, he had no problem sharing one with us today. After visiting Nebraska this last week, he now considers them his leader.

Blue has not had a chance to attend any camps yet this summer, but is trying to make more recruiting visits.

Nebraska does lead, but the other schools he mentioned as being "far and above" were Baylor, Wisconsin, and UNLV. Blue is focusing on early playing time and academics in making his college choice.

Rather than discussing any individual honors, Blue wanted to focus the conversation on his team at Cedar Hill. All he cares about is helping his team win - and he expects nothing less than a state championship this coming season.

So the focus on his team begs the question that Baylor fans are wondering about, will the fact that 2 of your teammates have committed to play for Baylor sway your college choice? "No, not really," commented Blue.
