One School Leads for Hunter

Tyler John Tyler has produced several Division I prospects over the last few years, and this year is no different. We caught up with their running back, Kendall Hunter, to see what the latest is on his recruitment.

Kendall Hunter (5-9, 185) is an explosive back out of John Tyler High School in Tyler, Texas. Hunter says he was recently clocked running a 4.48 40, which combined with his skills that earned him first team all district honors last year, makes him a wanted man.

Hunter has offers from Baylor, Oklahoma State, Kansas State, and Purdue. When asked if any of those 4 clearly stood out, he was quick to respond that Oklahoma State is his early favorite.

Hunter had the opportunity to recently attend a camp in Stillwater, where he met the whole coaching staff. "I really liked it there. They showed me the new facilities."

As of right now, Hunter does not have any plans to visit any other schools until after his high school football season.
