Offer In Hand?

Richardson, Texas has been a hotspot for talented football players. Berkner High School has had their share of talented D-1 prospects walk down its halls. One Berkner football player performed well at the Scout.com combine and has been getting a lot of interest from several schools. See what he had to say about Baylor, and if he has an offer.

Kramer Lucio plays both tight end and defensive end for his Richardson Berkner team. Standing 6-4 and bulked up to 235 pounds, Lucio is projected to play anywhere from tightend to defensive tackle.

"Schools right now only have my highlight tapes of me playing tight end. They like my hands. They don't have the other tape. A lot of schools are waiting to see how much bigger I can get over the summer."

Duke, Tulane, Purdue, Houston, and UTEP are showing Lucio the most interest. Lucio has attended camp at UTEP, Oklahoma State, and Houston. He plans on attending SMU's camp later this summer. Up to this point, he holds no written scholarship offers.

Lucio explains he has been to the Baylor campus before, and once again toured the campus during his time in Waco for the Scout.com combine. So what are Lucio's thoughts on Baylor?

"I'm interested in them, but they haven't showed me much interest."

The talented Richardson football player is looking for a university with great coaches, great academics, and a place that he can win. He feels that he prepares really well for games, doesn't make mistakes, and does what is best for the team in all circumstances.

As the upcoming football season, Kramer Lucio is one to keep an eye on.
