Talented RB Likes Baylor

As a junior, he rushed for nearly 1700 yards and hit paydirt 22 times. He stand 5-8 190 and has recently been clocked at a 4.55 forty. He plays football at Dayton High School in Dayton, Texas where he earned several honors for the talent he displayed on the football field. His name is Michael Dugat, and recently he took the time to speak with BearsIllustrated.com.

Dugat recently picked up an official scholarship offer from UTEP, and is getting plenty of interest from Baylor, Florida, Washington among others. Dugat, cousin of Baylor Bear basketball player Henry Dugat, talked about his interest in Baylor University.

"I talked with Coach Wnek when I went to Baylor's camp. I think I did good, and he told me I did good. The offensive coordinator told me I was doing good, too."

"I have a lot of interest in Baylor. Family will have a big effect. I really want to play close to home, and I would like to go to school with somebody I already know."

Dugat hopes to make a decision close to December after the football season is over. His goals are to stay healthy, have a good senior year, and he has his eyes fixed on winning a state title.
