Baylor Gets Another

With the impressive recruiting class the Baylor Bears have built, it still left many wondering about a certain position on the football field. Today, the Bears got their man. Chris Tate is the latest to give the Baylor Bears his commitment.

He is about as good as they come. Chris Tate is a dynamic ball carrier who has speed and vision. The 6'0" 180 pound Hempstead, Texas tailback gave his verbal commitment to Guy Morriss today.

Tate told that he "wants to go to a good school and get a good education."

Baylor was the first to offer Chris Tate, and even after receiving offers from Houston and New Mexico, the Bears remained his leader. Tate earlier explained, "That was my first one[offer] and I really like Baylor a lot so it was pretty big for me."

Chris Tate should have no problem running the new Baylor Bear offense implemented by Baylor's new offensive coordinator Lee Hays. Afterall, he runs the same type of offense at his high school.

With Tate on the board, the Bears are keeping the recruiting momentum in their favor.
