The talented athlete is one of the few highly touted prospects in the Lone Star State yet to make a commitment. BearsIllustrated.com caught up with Cole to get the latest.

ON HIS 7 TOUCHDOWN PERFORMANCE:

"We just scored on the first drive, and we thought we were just going to go out and win like we normally do. All of a sudden the defense starting helping out by causing more turnovers, and it just seemed like it started rolling after awhile. After that people just started counting touchdowns, and I just ended up having 7 at the end."

ON HIS UPCOMING GAME AGAINST DeSOTO:

"To be honest, I expect to see a very fast defense. With Von Miller, I expect to see a very fast defense."

ON HIS RECRUITMENT:

"The recruiting process is kind of slow now because of football, I am just thinking about helping my team rather than myself. As of right now it's just same old, same old. Some teams are calling and some teams don't."

SCHOOLS THAT HE IS INTERESTED IN (in no particular order):

"Kansas, Missouri, Baylor, Nebraska, Texas A&M, LSU, and Arkansas."

WHAT HE IS LOOKING FOR IN A SCHOOL:

"Where I am going to play. That's one of the big ones, right now I don't know exactly where I am going to play. My dad and I were talking and it's[preferred position] cornerback and receiver, and special teams, of course."

ON WHETHER HE PLANS TO TAKE ANY OFFICIAL VISITS:

"I am just planning them. I haven't been out to visit any yet. I was supposed to go to Nebraska but I ended up stopping that one. Right now, it is Baylor and Missouri. Those are the main ones, and TCU."

William Cole is one of the best high school football players in the state. He is on an undefeated team and is eyeing the prize better known as the state championship. Keep it tuned to BearsIllustrated.com to get the latest on the recruiting scene.
