Baylor Commit Zac Scotten Talks Recruiting

When Zac Scotten gave his verbal pledge to Guy Morriss in the spring, Scotten was excited to be playing in the Big 12. So how strong is his commitment to Baylor jsut weeks before signing day? Come inside to find out.

Standing 6-6 and weighing in around 245 pounds, Zac Scotten is getting ready to take the mound for his high school baseball team. The multi-sport athlete took the time to talk about his recruitment to

"The offseason has been good. I am getting ready for baseball. I have just been working out since the football season ended."

The tall offensive lineman explained his current recruiting situation.

"I have picked up an offer from Tulane, but most of the other schools have left me alone. Texas A&M has talked to me a few times, but I am solid on Baylor. I am going there for an official visit this weekend."

Scotten began his prep career at quarterback, until he made the switch to the line. Scotten has no regrets about the switch, and has talked often with Baylor assistant coach Don Wnek.

As far as his level of interest in any other schools, Scotten haad this to say:

"If I were to sign right now, I would sign with Baylor."
