"The visit went very well. I haven't connected to the players like that before. It was good to see who I would possibly be spending the next four or five years with."

With a visit scheduled to Iowa next week, and after already making visits to Kansas last weekend and Baylor this weekend, Odom explained what he liked about his visit and what his future plans are.

"My host was Dwain Crawford, and that went really well. We got a tour of the campus, and I got a good feel for Waco and Baylor. I got to talk to the trainers and the academic staff. We got to go to a basketball game and it was awesome. We got to see Baylor beat Bobby Knight which was cool."

"Mostly I talked to Coach Hoeffer, but I had the opportunity to talk to Coach Morriss. He was very interested in talking to the recruits. Coach Morriss is a cool guy. He is very laid back, and he didn't pressure me into making a committment. At this time, I am still planning on taking my visit to Iowa next week."
