Bears Secure Another Commitment

The Baylor Bears are seeing the benefits of the new spread offense they installed last year. The offense is designed to get the ball into the hands of the wide receivers often, and that seemed to play a large factor in Baylor's newest verbal pledge. Come inside to see who it is, and what his coach had to say about him.

West Los Angeles Head Coach Craig Austin described Baylor's newest commitment as an outstanding wide receiver. He was named player of the week three times and he averaged 111 yards per game. That's pretty amazing. He's 6-2, 205 and he's got good speed to go with that size. He runs a 4.5, but he's even got better football speed. He always seems to be running away from people when he gets the ball in his hands. He's also got a great attitude.

Eddie Newton, a WCS Player of the Week in November, is a legitimate threat in the passing game.
