Baylor Bears Pick Up Commitment

He holds offers from Baylor, West Virgina, Louisiana Tech, Mississippi State, Tulsa, and Grambling. Not too long ago, he explained that two schools stood atop his list; West Virginia and Baylor. Chris Scott Jr. took the time to update his recruitment and explain when he hopes on making a decision, and what he is doing to prepare for his senior season.

Scott explains that he is focusing now on his summer workout regimen; one that includes following the Tampa Bay Buccaneers workout. Afterall, Scott Jr.'s cousin is Tampa Bay wide receiver Michael Clayton. In addition to the Bucs workout, Scott Jr. has also incorporated Reggie Bush's workout to his summer program. Scott Jr. is definitely taking this offseason seriously.

With no more visits scheduled, Scott Jr. talked about his visit to Baylor and when he hopes to make a decision.

"Dwain Crawford showed me around, and he was telling me that with Coach Morriss and Coach Hoefer, I have a good chance of coming in and playing as a freshman. I was thinking about committing, but I decided to holdoff."

With plenty of offers in hand, where does the talented defensive back stand in his recruitment?

"I am still in the same boat I have been in. I will have a decision made by August."
