Marcus Malbrough Taking One More Visit

Beaumont Westbrook has produced some major Division I football talent in the past few years, and this year is no exception. Highly touted defensive end Marcus Malbrough currently holds offers from Iowa, Missouri, and Baylor. The prep athlete is committed, but he is taking one last visit. Come inside to see what he had to say about what his future plans are.

At 6'5" and 225, Beaumont Westbrook defensive end Marcus Malbrough has received plenty of attention in the past few months. As one of the leaders on his high school team, the talented defensive lineman has received offers from Iowa, Missouri, and Baylor. Malbrough ia committed to the Iowa Hawkeyes, and cites the Iowa coaching staff as the main reason.

"The coaching staff is great, and I grew attached to them. Coach Jackson is a good guy and a good coach. Coach Ferentz is just a real down to earth guy. They shoot straight with you."

Malbrough has taken visits to Baylor and Missouri, and this Saturday he is headed to Iowa for his last trip before signing day.

"I am going to Iowa this Saturday. I just want to make sure that I am happy about where I am going. I am going to meet the whole staff, and meet the team."

Malbrough will likely meet up with former high school teammate, Jacody Coleman; a player Malbrough says was a defensive leader at Beaumont Westbrook.
