Round Rock Standout Has Baylor #1

Stony Point High School in Round Rock, Texas has been a football factory recently when it comes to producing Division I talent. This year is no different, especially at the skill positions. One Stony Point standout recently decided he found his #1 school.

Glasco Martin made himself known when he was one of the top performers at the Scout/Under Armour combine in Dallas earlier this year. The 6-1 190 pound wide receiver cruised to a 4.64 forty time while displaying good body control in several one on one drills. Recently, Martin has been gaining more interest, receiving two offers; one from Air Force and one from Baylor. Martin tells, that he is a "soft verbal" to Baylor University at this time.

"Baylor is my number one school. It was exciting getting that offer. Baylor is at the top of my list, they have a good football program, good coach, and great academics."

Martin attended one of Baylor's mini-camps this summer, and afterward received a scholarship offer. He talks about how he think he performed at the camp.

"I felt like I did really well. I always strive for more, but I definitely thought I was one of the top people at the camp."

MArtin enjoyed attending camp with his Stony Point High School teammates, as well as seeing other familiar faces from around the state. While Martin admits it is stil early, he explains why he feels so strongly about Baylor.

The versatile athlete tells that he will likely play wide receiver or running back on the next level, and that he feels like he can play any position on the field, save for offensive lineman.

Martin explains that he is working on setting up a time and date to make his official visit to see the school's facilities and campus.
