Will Adams is 6'0" and weighs 185, but his leaping ability allows him to play much taller than that. The big leaper opened some eyes at the Scout.com/Under Armour combine held in the spring, and again did it with his performance in waco on Friday.
"I think the camp went really great. I got to show the coaches what I could do. They saw my route running, they saw my great hands, and my athletic ability."
Adams has had a busy summer camping at many places including but not limited to LSU, Texas A&M, Southern Mississippi, Louisiana Tech, Oklahoma, and TCU. Adams talks about how the Baylor mini-camp compares to his other camps.
"This is right up there. It looks like these new coaches are on the come up. It feels like they are going to make this team a lot better."
Adams currently holds offers from Southern Mississippi, Louisiana Tech, Louisiana Monroe, and Air Force. While he is sure to gain more recognition, Adams admits that he likely needs to work on his explosiveness off the line as he perpares for life as a college football player.
Adams explains that his strength on the field is his excellent route running and his excellent hands. He feels like he can get open no matter what.
